DLA Piper Appoints New Partner Robynne Sanders

DLA Piper announces the appointment of leading intellectual property lawyer and patent specialist, Robynne Sanders, to its partnership effective today, 27 February 2012.

Most recently a Director of Watermark Intellectual Property Lawyers, Robynne joins DLA Piper’s Intellectual Property & Technology practice and will be based in the firm’s Melbourne office.

Robynne is experienced in Federal Court patent litigation cases and dispute resolution, drafting licensing and manufacturing agreements and advising on confidentiality, trade mark disputes and branding.

Robynne has advised clients in the engineering, building and construction and consumer products sectors on a wide variety of intellectual property issues. In addition, in the biotechnology sector she has advised on pharmaceuticals for the treatment of diabetes, high cholesterol and cardiovascular conditions.

In addition to her legal qualifications Robynne has a Bachelor of Science degree, a Masters degree in Industrial Property, is a Registered Patent Attorney in both Australia and New Zealand, is a Fellow of the Institute of Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys and is the current chair of the IPSANZ Victorian committee.
