HWL Ebsworth has announced a further significant appointment to its Melbourne office with the appointment of Anthony Seyfort as a partner in its Corporate & Commercial Group.
Anthony joins HWL Ebsworth from Lander & Rogers, where he was the firm’s Corporate Advisory Practice Group Leader for over eight years. Anthony’s experience also includes five years as company secretary and senior lawyer for Crown Limited, and performing non-executive director and audit committee member roles for a utility and two corporate superannuation funds.
Anthony’s areas of expertise include mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets, joint ventures, competition law and regulatory law. Anthony’s specialist regulatory experience enables him to represent clients in dealings with government and regulatory bodies and provide advice on regulatory compliance programs and strategies for the management of regulatory risk.
Anthony will be joining HWL Ebsworth on 2 July 2012.
