International law firm Simmons & Simmons has expanded its Projects practice with the appointment of partner Simon Barrett.
Simon has experience in advising on major infrastructure projects, including transport, energy, and renewables and power. He also advises on corporate and cross-border M&A. He was previously a senior lawyer in the infrastructure and project finance group at Hogan Lovells Tokyo. He has extensive experience in working with Japanese clients and trading houses, and undertook a two year secondment with Mitsubishi Corporation.
He will initially be based in the London office and will move to the Tokyo office in the coming months, where he will be based permanently.
