SNR Denton announced today that Mitchell D. Dudek has joined and Alex Wang will be joining the firm as partners in its Corporate and Real Estate practices, respectively. Dudek and Wang are joining from Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP where Dudek was the past chair of the firm’s Shanghai office. SNR Denton expects other lawyers and professionals to join Dudek and Wang immediately upon conclusion of a notice period.

Dudek’s practice encompasses a broad range of business and corporate finance transactions, including real estate development, acquisitions and divestitures, consolidation and restructuring transactions, foreign direct investments and joint ventures, energy projects, non-performing loan transactions, technology licensing, derivatives and structured finance, and other corporate, intellectual property, securities and financial transactions. Dudek is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese. He earned his J.D., from Ohio State University, and his M.B.A. and industrial engineering B.S. degree from Texas A&M University. He completed additional law, business and Mandarin language coursework at Beijing University, Fudan University, Qinghua University, University of Hong Kong, National Taiwan University, Xiamen University and Shanghai Normal University.
Wang focuses on international and cross-border real estate transactions. He represents international real estate investment funds, investment banks, financial institutions, multi-national corporations, and private equity and hedge funds in a broad range of real estate transactions, including acquisition, joint venture, financing, disposition, development, public auction, non-performing loan transactions, and private equity investment in real estate companies. He earned a LL.B., with highest honors, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, a LL.M., with distinction, from Queen’s University and a second LL.M. from Harvard Law School.
