Akin Gump has recruited William Rosoff to head its Beijing office. The partner joins from Cozen O’Connor’s New York office and brings a significant presence to the firm’s Asia corporate practice. His extensive experience includes M&A, joint ventures, and infrastructure projects.
“Bill is a great addition to our firm and represents another strong step forward for Akin Gump in Asia,” said Rick Burdick, international managing partner at Akin Gump. “The increasingly sophisticated work that we are handling for clients in China and throughout Asia makes Bill, with his broad corporate practice and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese legal system, an excellent fit.”
Rosoff is a graduate of Harvard Law School and Columbia University. Before Cozen, he worked at both Davis Polk and O’Melveny.
