DaHui is pleased to announce that Liu Tian and Patrick Gu have joined the firm as partners in the corporate and employment law teams, respectively.
Educated in both China and the United States, Tian is qualified as a lawyer in New York State and the PRC. Her practice focuses on the energy and energy-related equipment manufacturing sectors, specifically advising multi-national companies on inbound and outbound mergers and acquisitions, green-field investment and the development of large-scale oil, gas and petrochemical projects in China. In addition, Tian has experience in advising VC and PE funds on fund investment issues, as well as advising companies, including start-up and pre-IPO stage companies, on their fundraising activities.

With over 16 years of experience, Patrick has a rich mix of in-depth labor law knowledge and extensive human resources related expertise accumulated from working with the labor arbitration tribunal, top-tier foreign and local Chinese law firms and Fortune 500 companies. Patrick previously worked at the Shanghai Municipal Labor Arbitration Commission as a labor dispute arbitrator and was responsible for lawmaking at the Shanghai local labor authority.
