Shearman & Sterling Represents Sanofi-aventis in Acquisition of BMP Sunstone

Shearman & Sterling is representing sanofi-aventis in the US$520.6 million acquisition of BMP Sunstone Corporation, a specialty pharmaceutical company operating exclusively in China. The acquisition is structured as a merger of BMP Sunstone and Star 2010 Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of sanofi-aventis.
