Allens Arthur Robinson (Allens) has continued the expansion of its Brisbane practice, with the appointment of construction and infrastructure specialist Adrian Baron as a Partner. Mr Baron joins Allens following seven years at John Holland Group, where he was General Counsel from 2004 to 2010, before being appointed as the company’s National Commercial and Risk Manager last year.
He will join Allens’ Brisbane office and Asia-wide Projects team next month and focus on problem solving, claims management and dispute resolution in the construction and infrastructure fields.
Allens’ Queensland Practice Director Erin Feros said Mr Baron will be an outstanding addition to the Brisbane-based team.
‘The Allens practice in Queensland has grown strongly over the past few years, driven by a number of major projects in the resources and infrastructure sectors,’ Ms Feros said.
‘Adrian’s addition to the practice will continue to expand our expertise in one of our great strengths, construction and infrastructure.’
Allens Chairman Ewen Crouch said Mr Baron, the 15th partner to be appointed to the firm this year, is part of the firm’s ongoing investment in growth practice areas.
