Capital Markets Lawyer Joins Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow in Singapore

Baker & McKenzie.Wong & Leow, the member firm of Baker & McKenzie International in Singapore, is pleased to announce that capital markets lawyer Lan Hing Liew has joined its Corporate & Securities practice as a partner. She joins the Firm from Rajah & Tann LLP, Singapore, where she was an equity partner.

Ms. Liew has a decade of legal experience in capital markets transactions, M&A deals and listed companies’ corporate actions and regulatory compliance in Singapore, with a strong focus on listings and initial public offerings and secondary fund raising transactions including share placements, rights issues and bond issues and with significant exposure to China in recent years.

This development follows the recent partner additions of Emmanuel Hadjidakis from Allen & Overy to the Firm, and Mark Lim from Albar & Partners to Baker & McKenzie’s member firm in Malaysia, Wong & Partners. Both lawyers joined the respective Finance and Projects practices of the two Firms.

The recent lateral hires further strengthen the Firms’ deep practice and sector expertise built through a long commitment to the Asia Pacific region.
