Global law firm Clyde & Co has grown its MENA partnership with the addition of a new corporate partner joining the firm’s Dubai office.
Matt Donovan has more than 10 years’ experience working on UK, European and international private equity and venture capital investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance transactions, public offerings (predominantly AIM market), private placements, share and asset acquisitions/disposals and reorganisations.
Over the last few years, Matt’s work has taken him to the emerging markets of MENA to work with both domestic and international clients with interests throughout the GCC.
Matt has a broad corporate practice, including a variety of clients in the aerospace and defence sector who he advises on various projects throughout MENA, including negotiation of defence procurement contracts and satisfying offset obligations.
Matt will be a key member of Clyde & Co’s corporate group where he will focus on corporate and defence and security work in the region.
He joins from Bracewell & Giuliani LLP in Dubai where he was a Senior Corporate Counsel in the firm’s Business and Regulatory Group.
