Corporate partner hire strengthens Denton Wilde Sapte’s Russian and international Corporate capabilities

Denton Wilde Sapte has hired Corporate partner Igor Krivoshekov, who will enhance the firm’s Corporate and Russian practices through his expertise in international M&A and private equity.

“Igor has 13 years’ experience of working for major international law firms and has advised on high-profile deals in most industry sectors, with a particular emphasis on the energy and telecoms industries.  He is also US qualified, which is an extra strength in view of our impending combination with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal,” says Moscow office Managing Partner Doran Doeh.

Igor spent seven years at Dewey & LeBoeuf, working in the Moscow and London offices, with the last four as a partner.  Prior to that, he spent six years in Baker & McKenzie’s Chicago and London offices.  Igor is currently based in Denton Wilde Sapte’s London office and will join the Moscow office in January 2011.

“Igor’s arrival will give us five partners in the Moscow office, alongside a team of 17 lawyers.  He has already been working on a large instruction involving teams in the UK and Russia and we have no doubt that his skills will be of major interest to a range of current and potential clients,” adds Doran.

Denton Wilde Sapte’s Moscow office was established in 1993 and, with associate firm Duvernoix Legal in St Petersburg, forms part of a CIS office network that also incorporates Almaty, Tashkent and associate firm AK Counsel in Ashgabat.
