DLA Piper strengthens Thailand corporate and real estate practices by the appointment of Tim Dobson

DLA Piper continues to strengthen its capabilities in Asia with the appointment of Tim Dobson in its Bangkok office as a Senior Consultant in the Corporate Group. Tim’s arrival will enhance DLA Piper’s well-established and growing Bangkok office with expertise advising multinationals on legal issues related to their investment and commercial activities in Thailand, including international and domestic mergers, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures and general corporate matters. He also has an in-depth experience in numerous real estate and hotel transactions, ranging from hotel development and management, large scale real estate projects of all kinds, and corporate real estate joint ventures.

Tim joins DLA Piper from one of the leading English magic circle firms where he was a Senior Consultant. He has been practicing in both Thailand and Hong Kong since 1981. He is a Hong Kong and Scotland qualified lawyer and earned his LLB (Hons) from the University of Edinburgh, UK. He has been based in Thailand since 2001.
