Experienced Capital Markets Partner Joins Latham & Watkins in Hong Kong

Latham & Watkins LLP1 is pleased to announce that Benjamin Su has rejoined the firm in Hong Kong as a partner in the Corporate Department. Su focuses on corporate and securities law matters, and represents both issuers and underwriters in a variety of capital markets transactions, including registered equity offerings, Rule 144A/Reg S equity and debt offerings, and private placements.Su joins Latham & Watkins from Kirkland & Ellis. Prior to Kirkland, Su was a partner at Latham. He also regularly executes PIPEs, convertible bonds offerings, and going private transactions. Su has deep experience in a broad range of industries, including technology, financial services, education, and renewable energy and has led a number of high profile IPOs in the region.

He received his JD from the University of Michigan Law School in 1999 and bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College in 1996.
