Leading Employment Lawyer Joins Squire Patton Boggs in Singapore

Squire Patton Boggs has announced the appointment of Labor & Employment Practice partner Julia Yeo, who joins the firm in Singapore from Clyde & Co.

Ms. Yeo, who has considerable experience advising clients on all aspects of employment law, is widely recognized for her litigation expertise, with vast experience of representing clients on contentious employment issues, such as disputes on enforceability of restrictive covenants and summary dismissals, across the Asia Pacific region.

Specializing in aligning clients’ global strategies with the diverse employment laws across multiple jurisdictions in Asia, Ms. Yeo regularly advises corporate and senior C-suite level clients. Her expertise in hiring, internal investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues and terminations means she is a highly sought-after practitioner and has extensive experience advising clients across a range of sectors, including insurance, energy and shipping. She has advised various professional bodies in their disciplinary processes and currently sits as a lay member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Singapore disciplinary panel.

Ms. Yeo has also developed a highly successful and well-regarded immigration practice, enabling clients to seamlessly transfer their staff across a region with diverse laws and regulations.
