Amanda’s hire is the latest investment in the firm’s global asset finance offering following the hire of partners Rex Rosales and Jahnavi Ramachandran in London, and Siva Subramaniam and Samuel Kolehmainen in Singapore in August 2018. The lateral hires were part of the firm’s strategic expansion plans and also complemented the existing global asset finance practice with their experience in the aviation finance sector. Prior to joining Herbert Smith Freehills, she worked in the asset finance team at Clifford Chance in Singapore, and trained at King & Wood Mallesons in Sydney.
