Banking Partner, Nuncio D’Angelo, joins Norton Rose Australia from King & Wood Mallesons.

His appointment follows that of Partner, Chris Redden and Special Counsel, Vittorio Casamento who joined Norton Rose Australia’s Banking and Finance team earlier this year.

Nuncio D’Angelo will join Norton Rose Australia as a Partner in Sydney and will assume a leadership role with its banking and finance team in Australia. Norton Rose Australia Managing Partner, Wayne Spanner said, “It is great to be able to welcome Nuncio back to Norton Rose. He has an exceptional understanding of the industries in which his clients operate and brings a wealth of experience and technical knowledge to our banking practice.”

“Again this hire demonstrates the quality of people we are bringing to our clients. We will continue to invest in the country’s top legal talent to ensure our clients are supported as they invest in the key sectors driving global growth,” Mr Spanner said.

Nuncio’s appointment follows that of Chris Redden, who joined Norton Rose Australia’s banking and finance practice in April. Chris has experience working across a broad range of sectors from mining, LNG and oil and gas to power, renewable energy, PPPs and infrastructure.

Special Counsel, Vittorio Casamento also joined Norton Rose Australia’s banking and finance practice in Sydney. Casamento has over 10 years experience as a banking and finance lawyer, having previously practised at Freehills and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in London.
