Norton Rose Announces the Launch of a New Association in Indonesia with Susandarini & Partners

Norton Rose Australia today announced the launch of an association with the Indonesian legal practice Susandarini & Partners in Jakarta. Susandarini & Partners is led by partner Susandarini, a recognised leading commercial lawyer, who has over 17 years experience advising clients in the Indonesian legal market.

Susandarini’s experience includes advising banks, insurance companies, corporates and other financial institutions. She has extensive knowledge of finance and corporate related work and has advised on various energy and infrastructure projects including projects in the oil and gas, mining and transport sectors. Susandarini is also a recognised expert in the Indonesia insurance sector where her practice includes advising on mergers and acquisitions as well as the insurance products and disputes.

A number of Norton Rose Group partners will be based in Jakarta on secondment to Susandarini & Partners which has taken new premises on Level 33 of Equity Tower, Jakarta where it will relocate in April 2011.

The new association follows the announcement by Norton Rose Group that the Canadian law firm Ogilvy Renault and South African law firm Deneys Reitz will join Norton Rose Group on 1 June 2011.The enlarged Group will have more than 2500 lawyers based in 38 offices worldwide and will be a top 10 global law firm by number of lawyers.
