Perkins Coie Foreign Legal Affairs Attorneys at Law announced today that it has opened a new office in Taipei, Taiwan, to expand Perkins Coie’s Asia practice and to better serve its Taiwan-based clients, particularly in patent litigation and other intellectual property matters. The office is located in the Taipei 101 Tower.

As our commitment to these clients expands and our relationships deepen, it is a natural and welcome step that Perkins opens an office in Taipei.”
Perkins Coie’s Taiwanese-based clients include, among others, HTC, ASUSTeK, ATEN International, Elitegroup Computer Systems, Largan Precision, Princo, Lite-On Group and Monolithic Power Systems. The firm recently secured an important patent litigation victory for HTC before the U.S. International Trade Commission in a case filed against it and others by FlashPoint Technologies.
Perkins Coie has more than 175 attorneys involved in patent litigation, prosecution and licensing, with more than 100 of those attorneys having science degrees, including degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, and in numerous life sciences disciplines.
