Gilbert + Tobin and Perth based resources law firm, Blakiston & Crabb, today announced their official integration under the Gilbert + Tobin banner.
Blakiston & Crabb is one of Perth’s leading law firms specialising in the Energy and Resources sector.
Gilbert +Tobin Managing Partner Danny Gilbert welcomed the Blakiston & Crabb team saying it is a significant move that would benefit both firms.
“Blakiston & Crabb bring with them specialised partners in the Energy and Resources sector, one of the main drivers of Australia’s economic prosperity,” he said.

Following the integration, Gilbert + Tobin will have offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth and more than 60 partners.
Blakiston & Crabb has seven partners and 24 lawyers across Energy and Resources, M&A, corporate governance and litigation working in Australia, China and Africa.

Over the past 18 months, Gilbert + Tobin has expanded from a single Sydney based office to a national firm, reflecting the growing demand for high quality legal services.
The firm recently opened a Melbourne office with five partners in M&A, Banking and Finance, Competition and Technology.
This built on its Communications and Technology, Competition and Regulation, Litigation and Intellectual Property, Real Estate, M&A, Corporate and Finance practices in Sydney.
