White & Case Enhances Indonesia Practice Through Association with Indonesian Law Firm

Global law firm White & Case LLP has strengthened its Indonesia Practice through an association with MD & Partners, a newly established Indonesian law firm based in Jakarta.

MD & Partners is headed by founding partner Mita Djajadiredja. Djajadiredja was previously a partner at Hadiputranto Hadinoto & Partners, and is a leading mergers and acquisitions (M&A) practitioner. Joining Djajadiredja is Nadia Soraya, previously a partner at Makarim & Taira S in Jakarta. Soraya has finance and corporate experience, particularly in the power and natural resources sectors.

“Our association with MD & Partners supports our Firm’s long history with Indonesia and meets the increasing demands of our clients,” said White & Case Chairman Hugh Verrier.

White & Case’s commitment to Indonesia extends more than 35 years; the Firm has been actively supporting clients in Indonesia principally through its office in Singapore.

“White & Case was one of the first global law firms to focus on Indonesia,” said White & Case Asia Regional Section Head Barrye Wall. “The association with MD & Partners will provide an enhanced level of service to our clients seeking legal advice on Indonesian transactions.”

“We are very pleased to be exclusively associated with White & Case,” said Mita Djajadiredja. “White & Case has a great history in Indonesia and we look forward to working with the lawyers from White & Case’s market-leading Indonesia Practice.”
