Baker & McKenzie has acted for Garden City Plastics on its acquisition of The Décor Corporation which signed and completed today for an undisclosed amount.
The Décor Corporation is widely recognised as one of the leading plastic homewares manufacturers and suppliers in Australia and New Zealand.
As the largest manufacturer and supplier of plastic pots and accessories to the horticultural market in Australia, Garden City Plastics’ acquisition of The Décor Corporation is expected to create a stronger and more diversified plastics manufacturing business offering a wide range of quality products to the market.
Following the completion, the Décor Corporation will continue to operate under the well known Décor name and brand.
The Baker & McKenzie team in Australia was led by Corporate partner Richard Lustig together with associate Eliza McDonald. ANZ Corporate Advisory acted as financial advisor to Garden City Plastics.
Flagstaff Partners and Allens Linklaters acted for the vendor on the transaction.
