Clayton Utz is acting as counsel to Citigroup, National Australia Bank, UBS and Westpac Institutional Bank, joint lead managers in respect of the $525m offer for Caltex’s $300m subordinated notes.
Clayton Utz head of Equity Capital Markets Stuart Byrne is leading the firm’s team advising the joint lead managers, assisted by senior associate Richard Knott.
The funds raised will be used to pay down existing debts to increase the company’s funding flexibility as it implements changes to its supply chain and marketing operations.
