Clifford Chance Advises Jiangsu Jinsheng Industry on the Acquisition of a 50% Stake in EMAG Holding

The international law firm Clifford Chance advised Chinese company Jiangsu Jinsheng Industry Co., Ltd. on the acquisition of a 50% stake in EMAG Holding GmbH as well as on the acquisition financing and the joint venture agreement.

Jiangsu Jinsheng Industry Co., Ltd. engages in the production and sales of textiles machinery. The company has its headquarters in the Jiangsu province, China and employs approx. 1,200 people. This transaction is the largest single overseas acquisition by a privately-owned Chinese company in Jiangsu province.

The EMAG Group is based in Salach (Germany) and its products cover the entire spectrum of machining processes in the metal working industry. EMAG has become an important partner in the realization of complete process streams for the manufacture of transmission, engine and chassis components.
