Clifford Chance Advises Programmed Group on A$785 Million Contract with the Water Corporation in Western Australia

Leading international law firm Clifford Chance has advised Programmed Group on a A$785 million integrated alliance contract with Western Australia’s Water Corporation.

Under the terms of the agreement, Programmed Group will become the sole alliance contractor in the Perth region and will operate and maintain the Water Corporation’s assets across a large geographical area.

With over 100 branches across Australia and New Zealand, Programmed Group employs more than 10,000 skilled and semi-skilled staff and tradespeople working for public and private clients in the resources, infrastructure, education, manufacturing and logistics, commercial/retail, and tourism and recreation sectors.

The Water Corporation supplies water, wastewater and drainage services in Western Australia to hundreds of thousands of homes, businesses and farms, as well as providing bulk water to farms for irrigation.

“We are delighted to have worked with our long-term client Programmed Group on this alliance agreement,” said partner Tracey Renshaw who led the Clifford Chance team advising the company.

“The supply of water is critical to the Western Australian economy, and Programmed Group’s appointment as the sole alliance contractor underlines its proven track record in providing staffing, maintenance and project services across Australia and New Zealand.”
