Latham & Watkins advised Jazz at Lincoln Center on its expansion from New York City into Doha, Qatar through a strategic partnership with St. Regis Hotels and Resorts for the creation of new jazz clubs within luxury brand hotels. Jazz at Lincoln Center, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to inspiring and growing audiences for jazz by presenting high-quality concerts and education programs, is partnering with St. Regis to create the new club “Jazz at Lincoln Center Doha,” housing 120 seats as part of the new $1 billion luxury hotel. Jazz at Lincoln Center and St. Regis are also looking to expand the global jazz club footprint through the opening of at least four additional jazz clubs within St. Regis hotels in the coming years.
