Latham & Watkins acted as special US counsel to MakeMyTrip Limited, India’s largest online travel company, in connection with its US$80.5 million initial public offering of 5,750,000 ordinary shares on the NASDAQ global market. The underwriters for the transaction were Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc, Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Pacific Crest Securities LLC. The corporate team was led by Singapore partners Michael Sturrock and Rajiv Gupta, with associates Sharon Lau and Maia Nam. Tax advice for the transaction was provided by New York partner Jiyeon Lee-Lim with associate Matthew Dewitz.
