Latham & Watkins Advises on the Construction and Operation of the Second Container Terminal at King Abdulaziz Port in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Latham & Watkins, in association with the Law Office of Mohammed A. Al-Sheikh, represented the concessionaire Saudi Global Ports Company (a joint venture company owned by the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia and a subsidiary of PSA International Pte Ltd) in connection with the concession agreement with the Saudi Ports Authority for the construction and operation of the second container terminal at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project will double the capacity of the King Abdulaziz Port. The capital cost of the project is estimated to be approximately SAR2,000,000,000 (US$533,000,000) and is expected to be completed within 36 months.
