Qatar National Bank Closes Debut $1.5 Billion Bond Offering

Latham & Watkins represented Qatar National Bank (QNB), 50% owned by the State of Qatar, in connection with QNB’s offering of US$1.5 billion 3.125% Senior Notes due 2015, which closed on November 16, 2010. This is the first-ever bond offering undertaken in the international capital markets by QNB.

The Latham & Watkins team was led by Doha corporate counsel Craig Stoehr, with associates Helena Kim, Hon Ng and Mohammed Al-Khater.
