Shearman & Sterling Advises on Viterra’s US$400 Million Private Placement of Senior Notes

Shearman & Sterling represented Viterra Inc. in connection with its private placement of US$400 million of its 5.95% Senior Notes due 2020.

Headquartered in Canada, Viterra is a global agribusiness with extensive operations across North America, Australia and New Zealand, with Adelaide, Australia as the base for Viterra’s South East Asian operations. This was Viterra’s first U.S. capital markets transaction.
