The Hong Kong and Beijing offices of the Firm represented the underwriters led by Credit Suisse in the follow-on offering on the New York Stock Exchange of JinkoSolar Holding Co., Ltd. (“JinkoSolar”). The offering by JinkoSolar and certain selling shareholders of an aggregate of 3,500,000 American depositary shares, representing 14,000,000 ordinary shares, raised an aggregate of US$126 million.
JinkoSolar is a fast-growing vertically integrated solar power product manufacturer with low-cost operations based in Jiangxi Province and Zhejiang Province in China. JinkoSolar’s American depositary shares are traded on the NYSE under the symbol “JKS”.
The Simpson Thacher team for the transaction included Leiming Chen, Kevin Zhang, Sara Schuman, Ines Wu and Ziyi Yang (Corporate), Jennie Getsin (FINRA) and Rob Holo and Jennifer Klein (Tax).
