International law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges is representing PCCW Limited in the restructuring of Reach Ltd., its 50/50 international connectivity joint venture with Australian-based Telstra Corporation. The restructuring will result in the division of the majority of Reach’s assets and operations among PCCW and Telstra, which is expected to increase operational efficiencies for Reach and its shareholders. The transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2011.
