WILMERHALE ADVISES YANDEX IN $1.4 BILLION NASDAQ IPO

WilmerHale has advised Yandex, the leading Internet company in Russia, on its $1.4 billion initial public offering and listing on the NASDAQ Global Select Market. Yandex operates the most popular search engine and the most visited website in Russia. This transaction represents the sector’s biggest IPO since Google, Inc. went public in 2004. Yandex’s Class A shares began trading on May 24, 2011, under the symbol “YNDX.”
