Recently, Bill Shang and Jim Qiu joined Zhong Lun Law Firm’s Shanghai Office as Partners.
Bill Shang received his LL.B from East China University of Political Science and Law in 1999 and his LL.M from University College London and London School of Economics and Political Science in 2003. Before joining Zhong Lun, Mr. Shang worked at another two large PRC law firms for nearly 10 years. Mr. Shang specializes in PE/VC and corporate/M&A, and has advised on the formation of nearly 30 RMB funds and numerous equity investment transactions.
Jim Qiu received his LL.B. degree from East China University of Political Science and Law and LL.M. degree from University of Minnesota Law School, and is admitted to practice in China. Jim Qiu has extensive experience in the areas of China-related cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate compliance & risk management, litigation and commercial arbitration. Prior to joining Zhong Lun, Jim Qiu practiced with another leading Chinese law firm.
