June Singapore Legal Hiring Summary

There were several major legal career moves in Singapore in June.  Here is a run-down:

International law firm RHTLaw TaylorWessing recruited two new partners in June. Both partners, Mr. Govidarajalu Asokan and Ms. Mimi Oh, will work out of the firm’s Singapore office. Mr. Asokan brings extensive experience in maritime law, and Ms. Oh also brings significant litigation experience.

Clyde & Co welcomed Michael Horn as a partner in the firm’s projects and infrastructure group. Mr. Horn was formerly the head of Coudert Brothers’ Jakarta and Singapore offices.

White and Case welcomes John Tivey from Freehills. Mr. Tivey joins the firm’s Hong Kong and Singapore offices as a partner in the firm’s mining and energy practice groups.

Jones Day announced the recruitment of partners Mike Pollen and Kevin Murphy to the firm’s Singapore office. Mr. Pollen is a dispute resolution attorney and brings more than 40 years of experience to the firm. Mr. Murphy is a corporate attorney who focuses on mergers and acquisitions. The legal recruitment brings a combined 50 years of experience to the practice.
