Latham & Watkins Opens Office in Seoul

Latham & Watkins LLP is pleased to announce the opening of an office in Seoul, South Korea, which deepens Latham’s ties to Korean clients and further strengthens the firm’s capabilities in Asia and globally.

Latham has more than two decades of experience advising Korean companies and financial institutions with operations in diverse industries across the globe, as well as multinationals, financial institutions and private equity sponsors on inbound and outbound investments in Korea. The firm has particularly deep experience in the banking, energy, entertainment, sports and media, infrastructure, life sciences, semiconductor and automotive sectors.

Latham’s Seoul office solidifies the firm’s market-leading project development and finance practice and further expands its mergers and acquisitions, private equity, leveraged finance, debt and equity capital markets, and international arbitration practices in Asia.

Joseph Bevash will serve as Office Managing Partner in Seoul. Bevash has more than 20 years of experience in the Asia-Pacific region, including working with South Korean clients on ground-breaking project finance matters throughout the region and globally. He also serves as Office Managing Partner in Tokyo.
