Baker & McKenzie has advised shareholders on the sale of Media Monitors to Quadrant Private Equity, announced on 1 July 2010. Media Monitors is a leading media intelligence agency in the Asia Pacific, providing internet monitoring, press monitoring and other media evaluation and media analysis services.
The transaction involved Quadrant Private Equity acquiring 100% of Media Monitors’ share capital. Sydney-based Partners Mark McNamara and Brendan Wykes led the transaction in conjunction with colleagues in Baker & McKenzie’s Asia Pacific offices.
“We provided our client with timely and commercially astute advice across the Asia Pacific region for a smooth transaction, culminating in the sale of Media Monitors. We are very familiar with the requirements of private equity firms and were able to put them in a position to complete the transaction efficiently,” Brendan Wykes commented.
