A Munich-based corporate team from international law firm Dechert LLP advised Aegis Industrial Software Corporation, the US manufacturing productivity software solutions group, on its acquisition of diplan GmbH in Germany and Shanghai-based diplan Asia.
German-headquartered diplan Group, a leading manufacturer of software modules for the electronics manufacturing sector, gives Aegis strength and depth in both Germany, the heartland of European manufacturing, and in Asia, a key region for global growth. Diplan Asia has offices in China in Shanghai, Chengdu and Shenzhen, as well as operations in Singapore.
The Dechert Munich core team advising Aegis was led by corporate partner Berthold Hummel, assisted by national partner Katja Heuterkes and associates Giovanni Russo and Christian Boehme.
