Miller & Martin represented Larsen MacColl Partners, L.P., a private equity fund based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in connection with the sale of a majority stake in its portfolio company, S&S Worldwide, Inc., one of the leading amusement ride and roller coaster manufacturers in the world. S&S was acquired by Sansei Yusoki Co., Ltd., a company based in Osaka, Japan that is also engaged in the design, manufacture, repair and maintenance of amusement rides, stage equipment and elevators. Sansei Yusoki made the acquisition in two tranches, agreeing first to acquire 14.2% in June 2012, and 63.1% in November 2012. The Miller & Martin partners principally responsible for this transaction are Mark Degler and Patrick Mitchell.
