Dechert Advises Hyatt International on Agreements for Two Hotels in Russia

International law firm Dechert LLP advised Hyatt International (Europe Africa Middle East) LLC, an affiliate of Hyatt Hotels Corporation, on management agreements entered into with OJSC Nash Dom-Primorye for two new Hyatt hotels in Russia: Hyatt Regency Vladivostok, Golden Horn and Hyatt Vladivostok, Burny, which will be the third and fourth Hyatt-branded hotels in Russia.  The hotels are under construction and expected to open in advance of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in the fall 2012.

The Dechert team representing Hyatt consists of Dechert’s Moscow Managing Partner Laura M. Brank and Moscow associates Alexander Volnov, Evgenia Gaysinskaya and Elena Ivankina. The team also recently acted for Hyatt in connection with the conclusion of a management agreement for the Hyatt Regency Sochi which is slated to open in 2013 – in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Brank also acted for Hyatt in connection with the opening of hotels in Moscow and Ekaterinburg.
