Freshfields advises on US$184 million IPO of Greatview Aseptic

International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised the underwriters on the US$184 million (HK$ 1,433 million) initial public offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange of Greatview Aseptic Packaging Company Limited. Greatview Aseptic is the leading alternative supplier in China of aseptic packaging which is used for storing and transporting perishable food and drinks. The share price was determined at HK$4.30.

Greatview Aseptic will use the proceeds from the IPO to further expand their operations both in China and internationally and to explore future potential acquisition opportunities.

The Freshfields Hong Kong team was led by China managing partner Teresa Ko, US corporate partner Calvin Lai, head of Freshfields’ China intellectual property practice, Connie Carnabuci, and intellectual property counsel Richard Bird.
