O’Melveny & Myers LLP represented Changyou.com Limited (NASDAQ: CYOU), a leading online game developer and operator in China, in its proposed US$162.5 million acquisition of the business of 17173.com, a leading game information portal, from Sohu.com Inc. (NASDAQ: SOHU). Sohu.com is a leading online media, search, gaming, community, and mobile services group in China. The parties have entered into definitive agreements and the transaction is expected to close in December 2011.
