Shearman & Sterling has represented Acquity Group Ltd in connection with its US$30 million initial public offering of American depositary shares and listing on NYSE Amex. This is the second US IPO out of China in the past nine months.
Acquity Group Ltd. is a digital marketing and e-commerce company which has offices in 10 US. cities and has opened locations in Beijing and Shanghai. In China, Acquity focuses on building its presence and capabilities in the sportswear market.
The Shearman & Sterling team included partner Alan Seem, counsel Chris Chen, associate Yang Ge and international specialist George Cheng (all Beijing-Capital Markets).
