Simpson Thacher Represents Goldman Sachs in an Offering of Secondary Shares Represented by Global Depositary Shares of Parade Technologies, Ltd.

The Hong Kong office of the Firm represented Goldman Sachs International, as initial purchaser, in connection with the US$58.6 million 144A/Reg S offering of global depositary shares by certain shareholders of Parade Technologies, Ltd. (“Parade”). An integrated circuit design company, Parade was one of the first companies to develop display solutions using the high-bandwidth DisplayPort interface standard, which are used in tablet PCs and LCD monitors, and is a leading provider of DisplayPort-based solutions. Parade is a Cayman Islands company with headquarters in Silicon Valley, and its ordinary shares are listed on the GreTai Securities Market in the Republic of China (Taiwan). This transaction was the first offering of Global Depositary Shares of Parade.
