White & Case Advises Syngenta on CIS Supply and Distribution Agreement

Global law firm White & Case LLP represented Syngenta in an exclusive supply and distribution agreement with Dow AgroSciences for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region. The Firm provided counsel on corporate, intellectual property and employment law issues involved in the transaction, which was announced by the two companies on July 1.

Under the terms of the agreement, Syngenta will assume responsibility for the supply and distribution of Dow AgroSciences crop protection products in the CIS region, including Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
