Maddocks has further bolstered its property and development capabilities with the appointment of Bettina Sheeran – a leading lawyer in all aspects of property law and a board member of the Victorian Division of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA).
Bettina, who joins Maddocks as Special Counsel, previously worked in-house at PwC where she set up the firm’s real-estate legal team in Melbourne. Prior to that she was with Gadens Lawyers. She brings with her over 10 years of property law experience and has particular expertise in advising large institutional clients.
As a UDIA board member, Bettina has a deep understanding of the issues and challenges facing the property and development industries, which she is looking forward to bringing to her legal work at Maddocks. Bettina commented: “Maddocks has a great reputation and has been involved in some really interesting projects. The approach to working with clients is refreshing and I’m excited about helping the team grow its practice.”
