Stephenson Harwood advises GDF SUEZ on sale of Logan Teleflex

International law firm, Stephenson Harwood, has advised GDF Suez Energy Services, one of the largest global energy providers, on the sale of the Logan Teleflex group of companies, based in the UK, US and France, to Tokyo-listed Daifuku.

Logan Teleflex manufactures and installs airport baggage handing equipment, specialising in products such as tilt tray sorters, which boost the speed and efficiency of channelling luggage. Logan Teleflex’s products are used in over 80 countries around the World.

This is the second instruction that Stephenson Harwood has received from GDF Suez Energy Services in recent months. The firm also advised on the £38 million acquisition of the Utilicom Group, which completed in Summer 2010.

The Stephenson Harwood team was led by corporate partner Andrew Edge, aided by Mark Catchpole, head of pensions, Dan Holland, partner in the commercial contacts team with assistance by Daniel Boyle, Milan Thakker, Will Mann and Rebecca Vernon in corporate and Chloe Haywood in commercial contracts.
